Welcome to Dry Creek Elementary — Home of the Panthers!

We’re so glad you’re here! At Dry Creek, we believe school should be more than just a place to learn—it should be a place where every child feels seen, every family feels welcomed, and every staff member feels valued. This year, our theme, “Our Strength, Our Story: Every Panther Matters. Every Story Counts. Together We Thrive,” reflects what makes our school community so special: the unique stories, strengths, and contributions of every member of our Panther family.

At Dry Creek, we believe in the basics of what matters most—building meaningful relationships, providing engaging and purposeful instruction, and truly knowing our students. We want to know their strengths, challenges, interests, dreams, and the experiences that make them who they are. When we know our students well, we can teach them well, support them well, and help them grow.

Our story is built on a rich history of excellence dating back to 1866. Recent recognitions as a California Distinguished School (2023 & 2014) and a California Gold Ribbon School (2016) reflect the hard work, dedication, and heart of our entire community. Our strength comes from the people who make Dry Creek what it is—our students, staff, families, and community partners working together in service of our Panthers. We are especially grateful for our Parent Teacher Club (PTC), whose continued support, generosity, and partnership help make so many opportunities possible for our students.

With over 25 years of experience in education—as a teacher, counselor, and administrator—I am deeply honored to lead Dry Creek Elementary. I strive to be a principal who sees people, listens, encourages, and uplifts. I want every student to know that they matter, that their story is important, and that Mrs. Gill believes in them—even on their hardest days. I want our staff to know they are trusted, valued, and supported, and I want our families to know that we are partners in their child’s journey.

Every Panther matters. Every story counts. And when we come together, our stories become our strength.
